I found Jung at 16.
It changed my life.
I grew up in France and encountered the work of C.G. Jung and Marie-Louise von Franz when I was sixteen years old. It was one of those meetings that doesn’t announce itself as decisive but turns out to be. I have been formed in mathematics and theoretical physics— a language of structure and invisible forces—and Jung speaks to me immediately in this register—not as therapy, but about thinking about what holds the world together from inside.
In 1994, I began Jungian analysis in France with a dream interpreter of La Fontaine de Pierre, a group formed around Étienne Perrot, who brought Jung, von Franz, and Richard Wilhelm’s I Ching into French. That was my formation, not clinical first, but symbolic, alchemical, rooted in the French tradition of depth psychology.

I spent two years doing physics research in Thessaloniki, Greece, lived briefly in Zürich, and worked for a few years as a software engineer and team manager in Paris before moving to Los Angeles in 2007. The following year, I became the executive director of the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles, a position I still hold. Since 2017, I have also served as the Editor-In-Chief of Psychological Perspectives, the Institute's quarterly journal.
At the end of 2019, I started formal training as a Jungian analyst at the Research and Training Center According to C.G. Jung and Marie-Louise von Franz in Zürich—and began seeing patients. I work under the supervision of a Certified Jungian Analyst. With a license as a Research Psychoanalyst Student, now issued by the California Board of Behavior Sciences.
I have published several articles on dreams, physics, and Jungian psychology in Psychological Perspectives, , and in 2025, I co-edited and wrote the preface for Conversations with Marie-Louise von Franz on Number and Synchronicity: Insight and Amplification, published by Inner City Books.
